Orangutan Home is a local tour brand focused on journeys through Tanjung Puting National Park in Central Kalimantan, Indonesian Borneo.
Our main experience is a 3 Days 2 Nights journey aboard a traditional klotok, travelling from Pangkalan Bun and Kumai into the rainforest along the Sekonyer River.
But for us, the journey is not simply about reaching orangutan feeding areas. It is about slowing down, observing the forest and helping guests understand the environment they have travelled so far to experience.
Wildlife moves freely here. We enter as visitors.

OUR APPROACH
Tanjung Puting is home to orangutans, proboscis monkeys and many other species that live according to their own natural rhythms.
Our role is to help guests experience this environment responsibly, follow park guidance and understand that wildlife encounters cannot be controlled or guaranteed.
We prefer a journey that gives travelers time to watch, listen and learn rather than treating the rainforest as a checklist of animals to see.
